To all students interested in the Academic Year 2015-2016 in Kōbe program:
Good news! We are pleased to announce 19 scholarship possibilities, awarded by JASSO (Japan Student Services Organization). The scholarships will be divided among qualified applicants from the four consortium universities—Univ. of Hawai‘i, Univ. of Illinois, Univ of Pittsburgh, Univ. of Arizona. This scholarship pays 80,000 yen per month (9 months total), and is a great opportunity for students to lighten the cost of living in Japan.
In addition, students who complete JPN 101 by Summer 2015 are encouraged to apply; previously, applicants were required to complete two semesters of college-level Japanese to be eligible for the Year-in-Japan program.
