AY 2014-2015 in Japan and Fall 2014 Programs only

The first 20 completed applications received by the Study Abroad Center on or before Friday, February 14, 2014 by 4:30 pm will be awarded $500.00 each in scholarship funds to offset the cost of studying abroad.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible, students must meet the following requirements:

• Minimum cumulative GPA 3.0;
• Applying for AY 2014-2015 Kōbe or Machida Study Abroad programs, or Fall 2014 Adelaide, Copenhagen, Delhi, Florence, London, Paris, Rome, Seville, Shanghai and “Three Cities” Study Abroad Programs.

To apply, students submit a complete study abroad application with all the required components:

• Appropriate Study Abroad Center application (Semester/Year or Year-in-Japan Kōbe application form);
• $30 application fee ;
• Study statement;
• Three (3) academic references.

Terms and Conditions

The $500 scholarship will be awarded only if ALL the following terms and conditions are met:

• Students are accepted into the program they apply for;
• Students submit acceptance documents and participate in the program they apply for;
• Students must complete the program; in the event that students withdraw, or are withdrawn, from a program, Study Abroad Center will reclaim the $500 scholarship;
• Award cannot be applied to the $500 non-refundable initial payment that is due upon acceptance into the program.

Deadline for $500 SCHOLARSHIP application: Friday, February 14, 2014 by 4:30 pm
